Do you have Roadside Assist?
Yes we offer roadside asssitance to rideshare drivers. When talking to our advisers mention you'd like to take out break down assistance as well. By packing roadside with your vehicle insurance, you may be entitled to further discount.
Does it include Public Liability?
Now that ridesharing and booked hire is becoming regulated, it is typically mandatory to take out minimum 5 Million Public Liability. Start a quote, and we can compare and organise the correct cover for you.
Is UBER Eats covered?
Typical policies that allow the use of rideshare, generally DO NOT cover UBER Eats. When talking to us, it's important to let us know if you plan on doing UBER Eats as this is generally excluded unless we place you on cover that allows this type of use.
UBER Select & Black Insurance
Just like UBER Eats, most rideshare policies only cover UBER X operation. If you are operating on the other platforms such as UBER XL, Select and Black, it's important you let usk now so we can get you the right cover.
Renting my car for UBER
If you are renting your privately owned vehicle out to a driver so they can do UBER, then you should have the insurance cover that allows for this. We can organise cover that allows you to rent your vehicle out for UBER operation.
Does it cover me privately?
Yes. With cover we organise you don't need to 'double-up' on insurance policies. Once cover is in place through us, you could cancel your current insurance provider.
How much does it cost?
If you're just doing UBER X, cover can start as low as $2 per day. All policies are set up on a monthly or annual basis. Of course, there is many contributing factors that will depict how much your premium is.
How can I lower my premium?
There are many things you can do to maintain low premiums. Parking your car in a garage, holding a no claims bonus, maintaining a good driver record are just a few.
Do I get a free windscreen?
Your windscreen is automatically covered under policies. What you can opt to pay extra for is an excess free glass cover benefit. Discuss this with our team when organising your policy.
How do I claim?
Claiming is fairly straight forward. If you're in an accident and are in an emergency, call 000. From there, you can give us a call on 1800 97 98 99 to lodge and get your claim underway.
